This has to be the single worst song ever made.

I honestly can't put into words how bad of a songwriter and how talentless of a wh*re, Kate Nash actually is.

Other contenders..any song by the following artists: Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, the Tin Tings, Gwen Stefani, The Artic Monkeys, Pharrell, Paramore, Scouting for Girls, Adele...

I'll be adding to this list when I can think of more. I also hate that f*cking Soulja Boi track with a passion. How sh*t was that.

Kate Nash makes me want to throw large heavy things at brittle smaller things just so i can watch them smash and imagine it's her face.

There is a song called 'd*ckhead'. Seriously, footage of her fans singing along to this at one of her "concerts" made me want to not only drown Stu's aformentioned sack of kittens, but also throw a T-Rex in the bag with them, set it alight, p*ss in it, then put some more alive kittens in the bag, and then bury it under 45 feet of concrete.

For a change, I'm going to actually go and agree with Joel.

Fall Out Boy are fine enough, so long as you don't go in expecting anything incredible, and can overlook the fanbase. They're not incredible, and lyrically I'd say they're terrible, but some of there stuff (most notably the first two albums) is decent enough for what it is. They're nothing special, but there not "teh worst thing evahs!" as some people seem to think, most likely because "it's cool to follow the trend of hating the current in band".

And The Feeling ~ Turn It Up is just awful. The lyrics are utter rubbish (and this from a guy who doesn't even focus on lyrics), but especially the first verse "Well I know what you're after/ it's a rock and roll disaster/ Like you see in the papers/ that you read on escalators".

Just terrible.

That bit was actually a reference to an old Afrika Bambaataa track. But I suppose that doesn't disguise the fact that LL is embarrassing and has been for a number of years.

The worst song from the last few years that springs to mind is that She's So Lovely sh*te by Scouting For Girls. It's an easy target but it really is horrible, calculated, twee, saccharine garbage and it makes me want to spew my ring up every time I hear it.

Can't forget the deluge of dismal post-Libertines skiffle merchants that the NME had a good w*nk over towards the start of the decade, either - there really has been some dreadful guitar music over the last few years.

If you ever want a laugh at someone else's expense, watch Rockworld.tv's coverage of Death Disco (run by the excruciating Alan McGee). It's hilarious to see these now 30-somethings still knocking out the same old pub-rock sh*te, labouring under the illusion people outside a small pocket of east London give a sh*t.
